Organic MCT made from Coconut is highly favored by customers and is increasingly in use as a carrier, particularly for CBD which is currently booming in demand across the country. Also used as a carrier for other extracts.
The MCT oil, as well as being an excellent carrier, brings extra benefits to the consumer as MCT’s are quickly processed by the liver and do not have to be first stored as fat before converting to ketone bodies and providing mental and physical energy. Can quickly deliver a mental uplift by itself.

The MCT oil is essentially 60/40 for the C8/C10 meaning it is close to 60 percent C8 or Caprylic Acid (actually 54.9 % in recent batches) and 40 percent C10 Capric acid (actually 44% in recent batches) and the remaining 0.6% is Lauric Acid C12.
The Caprylic acid has natural antimicrobial and antibacterial and antiviral and antifungal properties thus adding to its value as a carrier in protecting the extract. It is used on its own as a health supplement.
Experimental studies demonstrate that dietary MCT’s suppress fat deposition through enhanced thermogenesis and fat oxidation in both animals and humans. In other words, the liver easily converts MCTs to ketones, which gives you the most of the benefits of the ketogenic diet without needing to cut carbs to drastically low levels.
The difference between MCT oil and coconut oil is that MCT oil is almost all MCT but contains different proportions of MCTs. Coconut oil certainly has MCTs in it, about 65%.
Scientifically proven benefits of MCT oil include its ability to help with weight loss or maintenance, heart health protection, improved energy levels and mood, and digestion and nutrient absorption support. Coconut oil may have antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties, through the lauric acid and can withstand high-heat cooking whereas the MCT’s can withstand only medium heat.
